Portfolio Website for a Local Acrylic Artist

There are so many ways to unleash your inner artist and let your imagination run wild, and acrylic pour painting is one such way. This is the subject of an article on the Create With Code Dragon blog, Acrylic Pour Painting: Interview with an Artist.

I’m not sure if I would even be aware of this creative outlet today, if not for the fact that I met a local artist [local to where I am, in Connecticut, USA] not too long ago by the name of Gerry (Geraldine) Sacks. I recently had the privilege of working with Gerry when she approached me (Angie) here at Code Dragon Design, asking me to create her artist portfolio website.

Here is a brief introduction to Gerry’s background, in her own words:

After living in a coastal community on Long Island for 30 years, my husband and I recently relocated to Connecticut. I attended New York University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History.

I have always been creative and chose to explore many types of creativity during my life thus far. I love color and texture and desire arranging them in different ways. Different materials speak to me and lure me in for exploration.

Code Dragon created a portfolio/resume/bio website for Gerry to showcase her incredible imagination and artistry, and to give the reader a sense of what she is like as a person. The website was set up using the WordPress CMS platform, and includes an art gallery that was built with the Elementor plugin.

You can check out Gerry’s acrylic pour painting by viewing the gallery on her artist portfolio website.
